Mission Trip 2015

So...where to go on a Mission Trip that will help others as well as educate ourselves? APPALACHIA! A few of us learned about the ongoing Mountaintop Mining industry at the UCC National Youth Event in 2012....It is not only destroying the Appalachian Mountains, but it is also destroying the communites, homes, resources surrounding them. We will be traveling to the Appalachian region in July of 2015 to not only help those that are impacted by such acts...but to hopefully also journey into the mountains to see the devastation first hand ans see what we can do to help stop mining in this way!
