Ministry & Fellowship
At the O'Fallon United Church of Christ, we offer a variety of ways to get involved in our church family
Education
​
Sunday School: For children and youth ages three through high school. Classes are held from 9:45-10:45AM on Sunday mornings in our educational building.
Confirmation Class: Classes are held from September thru May for 8th graders or older youth. Class meets with the pastor at 8:30am Sunday mornings to learn more about our religion and faith. Upon completing the class, the youth are then confirmed in their faith and into the membership of the church.

Youth Ministry: Fellowship for 5th-12th graders includes activities, trips, and youth conferences. Pastor Martha leads youth group activities on 2nd and 4th Sundays after worship.

Music Ministry

Children's Music Director: Deb Horrell
Chancel Choir: rehearses most Sundays at 8:30am and is open to high school age youth and adults. They provide traditional and blended special music during Worship.
Sunday School Choir rehearses Sundays after Sunday School and is open to elementary and middle school students. They provide special music during worship with singing.
Handbell Choir: rehearses Sundays at 11:00am. They provide special music during worship with handbell’s and chimes.
Praise Band: rehearses on various Sunday mornings at 8:15am and they provide and lead contemporary praise and worship music during worship various Sundays each month.
Youth Ministry
Youth Director:
Our youth ministry provides a place for our 5th thru 12th graders to partake in current issue discussions, activities, bible study, trips and youth conferences. The group traditionally meets on the second and fourth Sunday of each month.
Fellowship Groups

Mary & Martha Society: Meets every other month, on the 1st Thursday at 7:00pm. The group is open to all women. Onsite childcare is provided.

Book Club: Meets in a member’s home for
dinner and discussion of book selections.
​
Bingo: Meets in fellowship hall 10am on 3rd Thursdays
Women’s Guild: Meets the 2nd Thursday of each month at 1pm. The group is open to all women that are church members.
Quilters: Meets every Wednesday morning at 8:30AM for quilting, and brings a brown bag lunch.

Crafter: Meets on Wednesday mornings.
